Reaching the Conference by plane:

Several airports are located near Liège. Connections, flight frequency and fares will vary according to your departure city.

Once arrived at one of these airports, the easiest solution is to go to the Liège-Guillemins station, than to follow the instructions detailed below.

Reaching the Conference using public transportation (train/bus):

The easiest way to reach Liège by train is to arrive at the Liège-Guillemins station, that is well connected to many Belgian, Dutch, German, French and British cities. The Belgian rail company (SNCB/NMBS) provides both national and international travel information (timetables, route planner, fees, ticket booking, etc.).

You can buy train tickets in advance or at the train station at no price difference. Except for Thalys, tickets are valid an entire day on every train.
In case you are under 26, you can buy the special ‘go pass 1’  fare online which allows you to travel to Liège for €6.

Once at the station, you can either walk (25-30 minutes) or catch the bus right in front of the station. The easiest way is to use line 1, 4 or 48. This line has frequent service (one bus every 10 minutes or so) from 05:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and will take about 15-20 minutes to get you to “Place Saint-Lambert”, 600m far from the Conference Venue. Ticket fare is 1.9 €. Additional information can be obtained from TEC, the Liège bus company.

Reaching the Conference using by car:

A well-developed networks of motorways (E40, E25, E42, E313) makes access to Liège by car fairly easy.
