We are working on the program. The selection of oral presentations in Geomatics, Physical GeographySocio-economic Geography, and Climatology has been done and we have asked for a confirmation to the different speaker. We are preparing the final version of the program

September 2017

We have received 115 abstracts from young researchers. In addition, 16 senior researchers have agreed to do a short introduction of the sessions and different themes proposed.

July 2017

We invite all researchers to the 7th Belgian Geography day, which will take place on 17th November 2017 at the University of Liege.

All young researchers (PhD students + postdocs) are encouraged to present their research to the Geographical community and especially their fellow Master students.

The workshop will be divided in four parallel sessions (see preliminary program). Each session will consist of a brief introductory presentation, followed by oral and poster presentations. Awards will be attributed to the best posters.

Abstracts (including title, authors and affilitiations; limited to 500 words) should be sent to Aurélia Hubert-Ferrari and Matthias Vanmaercke  before September 13th, 2017.

The workshop is intended to promote geography to a broader community, including Geography teachers. Hence, all presentations will be made available online. After the Belgian Geography Day, all presenting authors will be contacted to ask for permission to upload their presentation on this website. Authors who wish so, can ask for an embargo period or can send us an updated version.
